KO (Ntokozo Mdluli) has quite a huge catalog of timeless music that have been dominating the radio charts for ages.

His career began when he was part of the Teargas group with their debut album K’shubile K’bovu released in 2014. Just like every group, there comes a time when people want to grow and go on their solo journey – they went their separate ways. Since then he has been a resident on the SA top 40 charts, awards, endorsement deals and so much more.

Fans and industry colleagues continue to share their congratulatory messages and some have questioned as to how he managed to stay at the top despite the pressure that has been applied by the Amapiano genre and the pandemic. Last year he jumped into some Amapiano songs which were really a success.

I guess that’s part of his winning formula – being versatile.
Is there an upcoming album
Last year when interviewed by Sowetan Live about his single Emoyeni he also hinted that he’s working on something that will definitely be loved by his fans. He also delved into his business of selling Skhanda World branded merchandise. He pointed out that being a musician can be difficult sometimes when the gigs dry out, it’s important for one to diversify and look into other ways of generating an income.
