Increased access to information on drug addiction, through the establishment of Anti-Drug Abuse Clubs, according to Lusaka Province Regional Commander BEATRICE MPANGA, could assist solve the issue.
Grandview Academy in the Kafue area is one school that Ms. MPANGA has praised for working with the DEC to combat drug usage in schools and communities.
She was speaking at the Grandview Academy School’s Anti-Drug Abuse Club’s inauguration.
Additionally, LOVENESS TEMBO, the head girl at Grandview Academy, asserted that providing schools with proper knowledge on drugs and substance abuse will benefit in the prevention of student drug usage.
