Cristiano Ronaldo and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez confirmed the death of their newborn boy on Monday.
Last October, Ronaldo announced on social media that he and his wife were expecting twins.
They revealed the birth of a baby girl in a tweet on the Manchester United forward’s Twitter account.
Messages of support and condolences were also posted by fellow team-mates and other Premier League teams.
