Busi Lurayi had joined scandal before dying, see which role she was possed to play. From gracing our screens as Phumzile on SABC 1’s sit-com City-Ses’la to being featured on big productions like How To Ruin Christmas, it’s evident that Busi Lurayi was very talented and had so much to offer in the industry.
On the 11th, it was confirmed that she passed away at the age of 36. The cause of her death remains unknown as the family awaits an autopsy report. Join us as we unpack more of the story below.
Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela has revealed Busi was casted on the award winning soapie Scandal. They have also provided information that she short some scenes with them.

The late actress was cast and had shot scenes for the etv soapie before her untimely demise.

No information about what role she was assigned with and whether they will go ahead and air some of the scenes as of yet. On our previous article we have also revealed that she was not part of season 3 of How To Ruin Christmas .

To provide an update, Busi’s role has been replaced by Denise Zimba. She will be playing Zama on the Baby Shower Edition of the series.
It’s just unfortunate that we never celebrated this achievement with her because Scandal is very big deal. I guess we’ll have to wait and see how it will pan out from here.
