Two Legacy actors, Jay Anstey, 30, and Sean-Marco Vorster, 29, who play the roles of Lexi and Stefan in the M-Net telenovela, have announced the birth of their baby daughter.
In an Instagram post, Anstey writes that on 6 December, they free birthed a “beautiful soul” into the world.
“Our darling Ayla is pure perfection.”
She then says they will share more when they are “further rested”.
Sean-Marco also shared a special father-daughter moment on his Instagram feed, saying he was the happiest man alive.
“My baby daughter, Ayla has arrived safely.”
He writes that he is in absolute awe of Anstey and the free birth she accomplished.
“The divine feminine herself and her natural abilities to birth our daughter has woken up a whole new chapter of life inside myself and our family,” he concluded.
Sean-Marco can currently also be seen on kykNET’s Alles Malan, a family-themed series in which he plays the father of a newborn baby.
The couple kept their relationship secret for months before announcing they were exclusive earlier this year. They announced her pregnancy in August with an Instagram post, saying they had decided to change their names to Mom and Dad.
It later became clear that she was not the only Legacy actress that fell pregnant during this time.
In fact, the “Price sisters” of the telenovela all seem to have fallen pregnant round about the same time, all expecting baby girls.
It was just the other day that Anstey posed alongside her TV sisters in a triple pregnancy shoot, all dressed in pink and corals, celebrating the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share a special pregnancy journey with her TV sisters.
Both Reandi Grey (who plays Elizabeth Price) and Mary-anne Barlow (who plays Felicity) are expecting little girls.
