South African actor, Putla Sehlapelo, affectionately known as Alfred Magongwa on SABC 1’s Skeem Saam has become one of the biggest stars on the show after being promoted from supporting to lead role in recent years.
The actor was born in Mpumalanga and moved to Gauteng to complete his tertiary studies. He began his acting career in 2003 playing the character Spike in the iconic South African soapie Generations. He went on to start in many other shows before finding a home on Skeem Saam.
Just the other day Putla was spotted taking his youngest son to school which melted many hearts. A day before he had gone out for a bike ride with his eldest son.
Judging from his Instagram Putla is a father of three. He has two sons and a daughter.
