Lynn Forbes expresses her gratitude for all of the love and support that AKA and their family have received over the last year.
Anele ‘Nellie’ Tembe’s loved ones are heartbroken and remembering her today, 11 April 2022, one year after she died after falling from the 10th storey of the Pepperclub hotel in Cape Town.
AKA took to social media to share a photo of Nellie with a remembrance note for the one-year anniversary of her sad death.
The tribute began with AKA telling Nellie, as well as his friends and followers, that he will never forget the day his fiancé died.
“I’ll remember this day for the rest of my life,” said Forbes.
The 34-year-old rapper went on to say that he prays every day for himself, his family, and Anele’s family to find peace after her untimely death.
“Everyday I pray for the healing of your family and my family,” said AKA.
The Victory Lap singer then expressed his desire for a day when both his and Tembe’s families can come together to pay their respects to her and her memories at the same time and in the same place.
