‘Muti FC’: Teko Modise on how he tricked Kaizer Chiefs

South African soccer player Teko Modise spoke about how he tricked Kaizer Chiefs players into thinking he used muti on an episode of Podcast And Chill on 9 December.

TEKO MODISE ON TRICKING KAIZER CHIEFS PLAYERS

Teko Modise joined MacG and Sol Phenduka on an episode of Podcast And Chill on 9 December. In his lengthy interview, he spoke about muti in the soccer industry. He said that many teams were “doing stuff” because they would see smoke in the dressing rooms.

“It wasn’t something that was not spoken about in the corridors. We knew certain teams were doing such things,” he said.

Teko thereafter spoke about a time he played mind games with Kaizer Chiefs, making them believe he was using muti, but it was actually powerade. Take a look..

“I remember when I was at (Mamelodi) Sundowns, we played Kaizer Chiefs and that is the season I won my first trophy. There’s a tunnel that you are not allowed to walk through, it’s only Kaizer Chiefs personnel that are allowed to go through. It was always locked there,” he continued. “So I took a little bit of grass and I mixed powerade with Berocca so it changed colour. It became, green. It became something weird. So as we walked out to play I was poruign that thing on the ground. People went crazy,” he added.

The episode was much-anticipated because of the attention the last episode of Podcast And Chill received – Jub Jub was a guest and he told MacG he “smashed” Amanda du Pont. An emotional Amanda later claimed that Jub Jub did not “smash” her, he raped her.
