Lawyers for DJ Sbu are suing a blogger

Following the revelation that musician Zahara’s six awards were stolen from her home during a burglary, a few individuals speculated that DJ Sbu was involved. Musa Khawula, a well-known Twitter writer, accused him of sending goons to steal the prizes and threatened to sue him for R1 million.

We previously reported that Zahara’s six South African Music Awards (SAMAs) were stolen from her complex-based house. She had apparently lived in the complex for over ten years and harbored a grudge towards her neighbors, according to Drum. But, in an interview with the tabloid, Zahara stated that she does not believe they would break into her home and steal her medals.

“There was no break-in at the house. Everything was exactly where I found it,“ Zahara told the publication. “The thief did not take anything else besides the six SAMAs and I want them back.”

So the question now is: who would try to harm Zahara in this way by sabotaging her? It’s no secret that Zahara and DJ Sbu have had a squabble over some issues. However, to say he is behind this is a leap because what would he gain from it?

Only time will tell, since Zahara is said to have filed a report with her local police station. Meanwhile, Sbu is attempting to safeguard his brand and reputation by hiring a lawyer to defend him against individuals who accuse him of wrongdoing.

Musa Khawula claimed yesterday that Sbu was involved “On April 30th, 2022, DJ Sbu, who is reported to have sent his thug associates to steal 6 of Zahara’s trophies, would release 10 NFT works. These accusations come after DJ Sbu defrauded Zahara of her Loliwe monies.”

DJ Sbu was furious that his name was being tarnished like this, and he threatened to send Musa’s attorneys. However, he only had two hours to erase the tweet or face the penalties.

Musa, on the other hand, did not fold, and the tweet has not been deleted.

DJ Sbu then sent out a cryptic tweet about individuals developing brands and relationships rather than making enemies. It’s possible that this was addressed towards Musa Khawula.

“Dont hustle backwards. Build relationships, not break them. Create friends not enemies. This life thing is too long.”
