.“The event will serve as a platform for upcoming artists to showcase their offerings and network with other creatives in the entertainment industry as we build a new industry. Within this community, upcoming artists are given chances to showcase their crafts, and the seasoned veterans are able to guide those aspiring, and form collaborations and/or mentorships with them,” says Karabo Masemola, founder of The Share Button.#OpenUpTheIndustry is a conversation that has been happening within the industry since 2016. The necessary changes that need to be implemented have been a challenge. The Share Button exists to bridge the gap between established and upcoming artists, creating platforms for them to network and showcase their work.
This networking hub allows for collaborations in the arts, opening artists to more opportunities that would positively impact their lives.The Share Button is partnering with Hip Hop on the Grind (Massiv Metro) and The Mixtape Show (Alex FM). The event has also partnered up with Mohlakanyo, Zkhiphani and Darling Yo Entertainment.The event will showcase upcoming artists.
