Mercedes-Benz South Africa and the Gift of the Givers Foundation will provide immediate humanitarian assistance to flood victims. This R3 million donation will be used to provide warm dinners, food parcels, water, and emergency education supplies to communities in KwaZulu Natal who have been hit the worst.
According to MotorPress, Mercedes-donation Benz’s to the impacted families would be utilized for food parcels containing staple foods and non-perishables, as well as bottled water.
The funds will be used to give hygiene kits, school uniforms, school shoes, and necessary stationery items to students.
In addition, building supplies and repair help were provided following an assessment of flood-damaged schools.
