Metro FM Dj Pearl Shongwe has passed away in November last year. She was aged 35 at the time of her passing.
Shongwe allegedly passed away at her house in Polofields, North of Johannesburg.
At that time it was believed she died from natural causes since there were no injuries found on her. She was found by her neighbours who arleted the relevant persons.
The radio presenter was crowned Miss Soweto in 2011 finalist. In 2010 Pearl Shongwe worked as an entertainment reporter for Youth radio station YFM.
Surgezircsa has reported on Instagram that the media personality might have died due to drug overdose.
