Videos of criminals parading their sophisticated guns on social media have been circulating for some time now, raising the issue of how they were able to obtain such assault rifles in a nation where civilians are forbidden from having advanced armaments.
A video of gang members heading to Klerksdorp, North West, for a member’s funeral began spreading on numerous social media sites.
One of the incidents that drew a lot of attention was the fact that these gang members were heavily armed with various guns and were traveling in convoy.
In the video, some of the gang members were brandishing their weapons without regard for the consequences.
