President Ramaphosa is struggling to catch a break as it stands. The ANC leader has seemingly been caught-out by the ‘Farmgate’ case, which is now excalating rapidly – and Cyril could soon receive a dressing-down from the Hawks.

Fraser, Farmgate, and felonies…

As one of SA’s top crime-fighting agencies, having the Hawks on your back. This happend just after long-time Zuma ally filed criminal charges against the president early this month.

The meeting took place this morning, on Wednesday 15 JuneHawks sat down with Fraser. The former SSA chief could ‘assist them’ in investigating Cyril Ramaphosa. Fraser is understood to have ‘furnished the Hawks’ with additional information about the Farmgate case

What is Farmgate all about?

Fraser submitted a treasure trove of evidence to the police two weeks ago. Documenting an alleged crime which took place at Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in Limpopo. Burglars targeted the property back in 2020, only to come across an enormous stash of cash.

Close to $4 million was found hidden in the house. Ramaphosa never actually reported the crime to the police – sparking accusations of a ‘cover-up’ at the farm.

Why are the Hawks investigating Cyril Ramaphosa?

Both a failure to inform police about a criminal offence. The concealment of a huge amount of foreign currency, could put Ramaphosa on the path towards legal retribution. Arthur Fraser is keen to help pile-on the misery for SA’s current head of state:

He has furnished the Hawks with additional information and details, to enable them to do their work. The Hawks have responded quickly to the complaint.”Statement issued on behalf of Arthur Fraser
