Three months ago, messages of speedy recovery swamped the internet when the vocalist and soul singer Lira suffered a stroke.

Like many other famous people, Lira has endorsement deals with several companies. The Jazz musician has been part of major campaigns for Audi Blackberry, Samsung and MTN. In 2016 however, she landed her first-ever international endorsement deal after Bobbi Brown, an American artist, handpicked her to be part of the Bobbi Brown cosmetics campaign shots in Mzansi.
Philanthropy and charity work
Having been blessed financially through her talent, Lira takes time to give back to society. She has been part of many advocacy and outreach programs like her Student sponsorship Trust. In 2011 she was given an Inspiration Award for her philanthropic work.
