Shippers of AKA and Nadia Nakai’s relationship might be in for something grand, as the songstress hinted in a recent interview that she and the “Fela in Versace” star might be starting a family soon. Nadia Nakai, fondly called Bragga, was speaking in an interview with Sowetan Live and revealed little-known aspects of her relationship with her rapper boyfriend.
According to the songstress, she’s known AKA for years but had to refrain from socializing with him too much because of her then-label boss, Cassper Nyovest. Cass owns Family Tree, the record label to which Nadia was signed.
Also, Cass and AKA are rivals and don’t speak to each other. Anyway, along the line, Nadia Nakai had quit Family Tree to start her own record label. With her exit, it was easy agreeing to date AKA when he asked. Of course, the decision didn’t please Cass, but then Nadia Nakai had made her mind.
Speaking during the interview, Nadia Nakai had also indicated that she’s ready to start a family with the rapper, having seen how good he is with parenting. AKA has a daughter (Kairo Owethu Forbes) from a previous relationship (with DJ Zinhle). Anyway, it will be interesting to see where AKA and Nadia take their relationship from here.
