Social media has been buzzing ever since it was alleged by tweeps that Dineo Ranaka is treating Sol Phenduka like he’s working for him and it’s her show. This has been supported by videos of their show with Sol raising his hand to speak during an interview. The two were appointed to take on the Breakfast show slot after Dineo left Metro FM. Sol Phenduka has been dominating on Podcast as Chill which has reached over 600k subscribers on YouTube. Join us as we unpack more of the story below and share the latest.

In a video that was published by Slik Talk, he accused Dineo Ranaka of treating Sol Phenduka like a toddler. He further pointed out that they are equal (co-workers) but Dineo wants all the attention to be directed to her. We’ve witnessed this in a couple of interviews where Sol Phenduka wasn’t so vocal and involved in the show. A couple of days ago they had a promotion that required one of them to hit the streets and broadcast live on the go. Sol Phenduka was then “commanded” to be the one to do so.
As it stands, both of them haven’t commented on this story. Let’s just hope that Sol will be brave enough to stand his ground. He must refuse to be treated like the second best because he is deserving of this position. As much as people are not so fond of Slik Talk (especially his quirky voice), he very important points on this video.
