The song is an inspiration for a better tomorrow.The laid-back mid-tempo Amapiano song, has a melodic guitar intro which gives the song a bit of a Samba feel, yet still authentic to the ‘Mapiano sound.
The song features some greats in the Amapiano genre, and it is a song one plays over and over, as it’s very easy on the ear with the simple harmonies from the vocals which makes it an easy sing-along.
The track features De Mthuda who dominates the genre and yet here the approach to the song is a lot more laid back than his typical sound. Sam Deep collaborated on the track with Playgal, an up-and-coming female DJ.
The official music video for Kusezo Khanya is set to premier today at 3pm on YouTube and will also be available across all music TV channels.
On Friday Sam Deep will release his new highly anticipated single Thokoza featuring MaWhoo, the song has already over amassed 66,000 Shazams and over 200,000 views on YouTube even before its official release. All indications say this is going to be one of the biggest tracks to release this year.
