Amapiano genre has took the world by a storm and it continues to dominate the dance floor. Many artists, have jumped ship to take advantage of the wave and possibly increase their income. Cassper Nyovest, Sizwe Alakine and Vusi Nova are some of the artists that have been dropping Amapiano songs and ditching their genres.
Taking to the socials, Cassper Nyovest has finally hinted on when his fans can expect new music from him. On the 12th of August he will be dropping a hip-hop song titled Put Your Hands Up. He featured Mousse T. Yesterday he shared a tweet stating that “people need to open up the industry and be as creative as possible in order to stand out”. Some pointed out that he’s the last person to talk about such because he ditched the hip-hop genre to Amapiano.

His die hard fans have been waiting for a release long enough now. He just released a music video of the Ooh Aah song he was featured on. Cassper’s lyrics caught fire as Focalistic went on to state that “you can’t pay someone for being your inspiration”. He also hinted that he is looking forward to creating more hip-hop songs or possibly drop an album in the near future.
