With almost 17 year under her belt, DJ Zinhle has had quite a successful career, and has successfully established herself in to business world

In 1982, Ntombezinhle Jiyane, often known as DJ Zinhle, was born in Dannhauser, KwaZulu-Natal.
One of the media figures in South Africa that works the hardest is the former DJ and producer turned entrepreneur. Prior to becoming famous, Zinhle had only ever dreamed of acting.

Her journey to the top

Around 2004, five years after arriving in Johannesburg for the first time, DJ Zinhle began her music career.
Her primary objective was to become a broadcaster, so she travelled to Johannesburg to study TV presenting.
Since I witnessed how YOTV presenters received free sneakers, I genuinely wanted to be a TV host. I had no idea it would be so challenging.

Before her brother’s love and passion for vinyl mixing rubbed off on her, she never had any ambitions to become a DJ. Since then, her love and passion for being a DJ have grown.

By 2004, Zinhle was spinning records at nightclubs, parties, fashion presentations, and even corporate events in a largely male-dominated field that still is to some extent.
She made her debut as a resident DJ on the SABC 1 dance program Jika Majika for young people.

She collaborated with legendary South African musician Boom Shaka on the album I Put It In, which also featured Dr. Malinga, Khanyi Mbau, Mshoza, and many other well-known musicians.

Since then, she has been composing successful songs. For instance, her 2019 hit song Umlilo, which was certified 3x platinum by the Recording industry of South Africa (RISA) and chosen as 2019’s Song of the Year, amassed 5.1 million streams in just three months.

Businesses and net worth

The DJ has spent a lot of time and effort on numerous business endeavors outside of music over the years, and she is a firm believer in creating several income streams.
She founded FUSE Academy in 2009 with the goal of empowering other female DJs. The academy was the first to serve just women in South Africa.

She is also the creator of Era by DJ Zinhle, a line of fashion accessories that sells, among other things, watches, bracelets, and sunglasses.
She obtained a stake in the Boulevard brand in 2020 and took over as CEO of the Boulevard Rosé sparkling wine company.
Additionally, she has a Bryanston two-bedroom apartment that is listed for rent on AirBnB.

DJ Zinhle is currently one of the wealthiest female superstars in the nation because to her extensive and prosperous music career and wise financial decisions over the years.
Her estimated net worth as of 2022 is $3 million (R42 million). With that much money, the DJ could build or purchase practically any home she wanted.
