The renowned actor Muzi Mthabela captivates Generations The Legacy audiences with his portrayal of the scheming businessman Nkosiyabo Cele.
After posting a photo of himself preaching in church, the actor who portrays the role of the Cele family’s “black sheep” who made a fortune out of his garbage company became viral on social media.
Real-life pastor Muzi Mthabela’s devoted following is in disbelief that their favorite actor is also a devout believer.

The unforgiving and cunning character Nkosiyabo is a devout Christian, which surprises Mzansi. To make it sassier, the actor is both a preacher and a believer. Muzi posted a photo on Instagram of himself reading the Bible from a pulpit as the praise and worship band sang in the background.
Even though he doesn’t have his own ministry, Muzi Mthabela takes pastoral work seriously. Most of the time, he accepts invitations from other churches to deliver sermons and inspire members. He wasn’t a pastor when he served God in 2019 as part of the Grace Bible Church.

Muzi joins a select group of celebrities who have positions as pastors in a variety of denominations, including Mpumi Mpama from Lingashoni and the powerful Vusi Kunene from House of Zwide.
The actor we all adore to despise has always wanted to be a priest; in an interview with DRUM, he revealed:
“Being a priest meant l could not have a girlfriend or sexual intercourse my whole life, and I was prepared to do it.”

However, he abandoned his desire to become a Catholic Priest and pursued his matriculation. Following his matriculation, he pursued a degree in Postproduction and Editing at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
After completing his education, Muzi swung to the opposite side, and he stopped attending church and began rebelling against his Christian upbringing. Within a couple of years, Muzi had taken up drinking, smoking, and a rasta-inspired appearance.

After several years, it appeared as though he had abandoned his Christian origins, but he quickly found his way back.
Muzi has overcome his drug addiction and returned to his Christian roots. As he desired, he did not become a Catholic Priest, but he is now a pastor in the pentecostal faith.
