The granddaughter of former South African president Nelson Mandela, Zoleka, says she is scared of “dying” just ahead of the anticipated diagnosis of cancer.
The cancer survivor says she has endured excruciating pain in her left rib and she is scared and struggling to find the right words to tell her children.
The mother of six, disclosed…

The mother of six, disclosed all the details in an emotional social media post via her Instagram page, detailing that she has had her CT scan.
Zoleka, 42, revealed she is scared of her pending diagnosis and that it’s difficult to tell her kids she might not be able to live as a cancer survivor.
“I’ve had a sore back for more than a month now, and recently consulted with my GP when I could no longer tolerate the excruciating pain in my left rib,” she wrote.

“I went for an x-ray of my chest and rib a few days ago – I have a pathological fracture and swelling caused by cancer.
My Medical Oncologist has scheduled me for a CT scan and bone scan, to determine whether I have cancer in the remaining parts of my body.

“I’ve just had my CT scan and awaiting my results. I don’t even have the words to articulate my thoughts and feelings, the words to describe how scared I am right now.
“What do I tell my children? How do I tell them that this time around, I may not get to live life as a survivor.
How do I tell them that everything will be okay when it’s not? I’m dying…

I don’t want to die.”
Meanwhile, Entertainment SA previously reported that due to the wearying chemotherapy sessions, Zoleka has been losing her hair day in and day out, but instead of giving in to defeat, she’s decided to go bald by completely shaving off her hair.
