Jennifer Lopez is trying her hand at yet another trendy nail look. Tom Bachik, the superstar’s long-time manicurist, posted a picture of her latest manicure on Instagram and her beige nails are a minimalist’s dream.
Captioning the photo “Sunday Nudes,” Bachik also shared that the color used was CND Luxe Field Fox ($15), a dusky beige. This
performance for the LuisaViaRoma x Unicef Capri Gala in Italy marked Lopez’s first post-wedding show. Though quite a bit has changed over the last few months for the star, she kept her signature almond nail shape the same, allowing the color to truly shine.
Beige nails are the latest iteration of minimalist nails that have been seeing some serious traction over the last few weeks. “It seems to be a reaction to how over-the-top and wild nails were getting for a while,” Eunice Park, manicurist and Aprés Nail’s research and development manager, previously told POPSUGAR. “Now, everyone seems to be trending back toward more natural, wearable nails.”
Though over-the-top nail trends like the “Kawaii” or maximalist manicure will forever have their place, sometimes it’s nice to get back to the basics. Take a closer look at Lopez’s manicure below.
