Controversial and under-fire singer Kelly Khumalo now stands accused of dishing out sweet tlof tlof to Police Minister Bheki Cele as a form of bribe.
Kelly Khumalo has had enough of Advocate Malesela Teffo making daring allegations about her in the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Senzo Meyiwa.
This includes Adv. Teffo’s claims that Kelly Khumalo had an affair with Police Minister Bheki Cele to cover-up her involvement in Senzo’s murder.
Describing the trial as a circus with Advocate Teffo at the helm, Kelly Khumalo called the defence attorney representing 4 of the 5 men accused for the footballer’s murder, “very abusive.”
On the latest episode of Kelly Khumalo‘s reality show which was released on Showmax on Tuesday 23 August, the singer said that Advocate Malesela Teffo claimed that she slept with Police Minister Bheki Cele.
Kelly Khumalo opened up about her “baby daddy” Senzo Meyiwa’s murder trial on the latest episode of her reality show.
The former Bafana Bafana captain and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper is believed to have been murdered in a botched robbery at the house of Kelly Khumalo’s mother in Volsloorus on 26 October 2014.
Advocate Teffo previously represented four of the five alleged hitmen accused of murdering the soccer star. Teffo has claimed that Kelly was the one who “mistakenly” pulled the trigger on Senzo. The singer addressed this claim saying that Teffo just wants to “be relevant”.
It is unclear who murdered him since new details emerge every time, and new details indicate that it was a contract murder rather than a robbery gone wrong.
Speaking on her reality show Life With Kelly, the songstress said she is unfazed by Teffo’s claims.“This is just a circus. We’ve got this under control. There is no need for us to be rattled because someone decided to throw a tantrum in court. And wants to be relevant,” said Kelly.
She further said Teffo wants to be relevant.
“Ever since this case started there has been numerous allegations to now me literally pulling the trigger and there’s an eyewitness. Now when the attorney has to now represent this eyewitness, he withdraws from the case.
Come on, this looks like a person who wanted attention and was using my name to get attention and when he had to now prove all these allegations that he has made before the court, and he knows he can’t, he withdraws,” she said.
According to Kelly, Advocate Teffo insinuated that she had slept with the police minister.“You know as an advocate who is representing the accused. You have no right whatsoever to deal with me personally. He even insinuated that I slept with the minister. Do you remember? The minister of Police” she said.
“I know your ways, I’ve seen you and I’ve seen how you operate. This is the last time you are ever going to use my name in vain. I never want to hear from you, if there is anything you wish to say, there’s my attorney you can deal with,” she continued.
This comes after veteran music producer Chicco Twala slammed claims that he bribed Cele to protect his son Longwe who was at the house during the robbery.
In her reality show, the singer said Teffo was seeking attention when he made claims that she allegedly murdered Senzo Meyiwa.
Earlier, Kelly had broken the news of a second docket – which implicates everyone who was in the house that night – to her mother, Ntombi.
