On August 8, 1977, he was born on the East Rand. But he was raised in Ikageng, a university town in South Africa’s North West Province. He spent the majority of his boyhood here, but eventually moved to Gauteng Province’s Pretoria. Sello Ngwana Nyatsi Zikalala was his birth name before he was known by any of his several stage names. He has daughters but it’s unknown how many they are. There is no further information about his other children besides his daughters. His wife’s name is unknown.

He graduated in the same township in 1995. At the age of six, Sello began performing as a Boy Scout. He was well-known for his performances in high school, and he and a friend eventually co-founded the Boipelo Theatre Group.
Sello attended either Potchefstroom or Pretoria for his elementary education. He enrolled in a university after receiving his matriculation and eventually graduated with a diploma in drama. His study continued, and Tshwane University of Technology awarded him a B-Tech in Drama (TUT).

Sello began appearing in theater productions after educating himself in drama. He participated in a number of theatrical productions, including, to name a few, Township Stories (Relativity), Telling Stories, Interracial, Foreplay, Cards, Memoires of a Criminal, Long Way to Go, Corner Street, Maru Welcome to Rocksburg, and The Black Hermit.
Then he made multiple TV dramas and serials appearances. He portrayed Alfred in the SABC 1 program Ngemphela. His first major role was in SABC2 sitcom Majakathata Records where he played Nkadimeng Mashabane after replacing the late Daniel Maphatseng in the role for Season 2.
He played the character of Mr. Khomo in the most watched drama on SABC1, Uzalo. His most recent appearances were as Bab”Maqoma in the Netflix series Justice Served and as the Mayor in the film Legacy. Sello has also appeared in a number of other television series, including Isono, Skeem Saam, The Wild, Generations, and Scandal.
In 2022, he was cast as Bra Gibb, a charming, upbeat, smart, helpful, and dependable character, in the risqué drama series The Black Door on etv. loved by all and revered as a sort of community father figure. He attracts Nomsa because of the money he donates to the church from his several little local companies. Although he doesn’t drink, he does sell booze.
