According to Mrs. NALUMANGO, Zambian businesses ought to make use of the environment the government has established and contribute to addressing the country’s over 1.5 million unit housing shortage.
And Mrs. NALUMANGO has urged small and medium-sized businesses (SME’s) to collaborate with international firms to develop win-win construction projects that will benefit locals.
This was stated by the Vice President in a statement delivered in her place by Infrastructure Minister CHARLES MILUPI at the handover of residences at the Emerald Hill Housing Project in the Chamba Valley region of Chongwe.

Speaking at the same ceremony, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises ELIAS MUBANGA remarked that the government takes pride in businesses that support residents, particularly new businesses.
Additionally, the local community has been involved, according to DON WU, managing director of the Emerald Hill Housing Project.
