Taking to her Instagram, she wrote: “How it started v how it’s going. Supposed to be in Turks and Caicos but being Shaka Zulu’s mom is top line right now lol.”
She further revealed that she could have celebrated her birthday abroad, but she’s in South Africa shooting the highly anticipated series Shaka Ilembe; a story that narrates the history and making of an iconic African King who reigned in South Africa. She plays the role of Queen Nandi, the mother of Shaka kaSenzangakhona, also known as Shaka Zulu, the founder of the Zulu Kingdom from 1816 to 1828.

Since she left Isibaya, she went on to feature in the Hollywood film Coming 2 America among others. Nomzamo’s journey is a dream for many actresses in Mzansi.
