Skeem Saam viewers are sympathising with Jacobeth Thobakgale, who got demoted as principal at Turfloop High. Fans are also wondering whether Evelyn, Alfred, Manaka will replace her this season.
WHO WILL REPLACE THOBAKGALE?
Fans of the educational soapie Skeem Saam hope that either Evelyn (Veli Manetje) or Manaka will get the principal position at Turfloop High after Elizabeth Serunye’s character Principal Thobakgale got demoted last week.
Some viewers are not routing for Alfred as he’s manipulative and greedy and doesn’t always have the best interest for the learners.
The teasers also suggest that Evelyn might be another candidate for Thobakgale’s position besides Magongwa (Putla Sehlapelo) and Manaka (SKhumbuzo Mbatha).
The Tuesday 23 August teaser reads: “Evelyn receives an email from the district that might change her life but Alfred doesn’t.”
The Wednesday 24 August teaser reads: “Alfred finally receives some good news but he is worried about his competition.”
The SSiTV teasers August reveal that a new principal will be announced on the last day of August.
The Wednesday 31 August reads: “A celebration is in the order for the new chief at Turf High.”
The SSiTV September teasers do not mention either Manaka or Evelyn as the new principal but indicate that Thobakgale might return to the school as either an educator or vice principal.
