After uploading a video of himself performing Tholukuthi Hey in 2017, the young musician quickly rose to fame. The video’s success led DJ Euphonik to offer his assistance to Killer Kau in the form of producing his debut single.
On August 9, 2021, a month after Killer Kau turned 23, Death picked him at his prime of life.
On the way to a gig in Rustenburg, North West, the musician’s car was involved in a horrible crash that took the lives of him, his best friend and fellow Amapiano artist- Mpura, and three up-and-coming musicians, Khanya “The Voice” Hadebe, DJ Thando Tot, and TD.
