AKA Shares His Top 5 SA Rappers List Which Includes Some Of The Best Rappers In The Country. The notion of the top five hip-hop acts has been around for a while, but it’s always interesting to hear the choices that prominent rappers hold most dear. SA hip hop has been graced with top rappers since it became a dominant music genre.
With a slew of brilliant rappers dead or alive, there will always be an element of selection dilemma when one of the rappers is asked to list their top five in the game. But that has not been the case for the AKA who simply had it figured out when the question came during his latest interview with SAHipHopMag.
AKA jokingly included himself on the list of his top five South African rappers when requested to do so, but he went on to give his list, which included other seasoned rappers as well as himself. “Do you have like a top 10 SA rappers of all-time list?”
Responding to the question; AKA said, “I can give you the top 5, top 5 is like, K.O, myself, I have to say, Khuli Chana, Pro Kid, and you can’t leave Stogie out,” he said. Taking from AKA’s list the rapper simply endorsed the SA rappers whom he has worked with in the game, be it in music collaboration or anything to do with the culture.
The Supa Mega has worked with Stogie T in a talent search TV Show for SA hip hop The Hustler where he and Stogie T were amongst the judges for the show. AKA has featured K.O, Khuli Chana and Pro Kid in the biggest songs of his career which include I Want It All, Run Jozi’ and Baddest and others.
