Busisiwe Lurayi, known for Netflix’s comedy series “How To Ruin Christmas,” has died suddenly at 36.
Mzansi mourns as actress Busisiwe Lurayi best known for her feature in Netflix’s comedy series, “How To Ruin Christmas,” passes on. The sudden news comes as a shock to everyone because there has been no news about Busisiwe being ill or anything of that sort. In a statement by Lurayi’s family, which was shared by Lurayi’s talent agency, Eye Media Artists, her death was confirmed. The statement which was posted on Eye Media’s Instagram page read, “We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of our beloved Busisiwe Lurayi. Busisiwe passed away suddenly and was pronounced dead at her residence on Sunday [July 10, 2022] by medical personnel.”
It also stated that the reason for her death has yet to be revealed. “The reason for her death is still unknown as we await the results of the autopsy report. We humbly request that you allow us as the family to come to terms with this tragic news. We thank you for the support that has been given so far and will provide further information as soon as it has been made available,” Fans of the actress have taken to social media to pay their final respects to her.
