No doubt he has been topping trends after he confirmed the news that he is joining Mzansi’s most watched drama series. Celebrated actor and pastor Buyile Mdladla has since confirmed that he has joined SABC1 telenovela Uzalo after he was spotted on the Uzalo set.
Reports have it that he will star as Gabisile’s lover. However, the rumour mill says he will replace late playwright and actor Mncedisi Shabangu. A few months ago, Shabangu died, but he was set to join the telenovela, and his on-screen character has since been credited to Shabangu.

Before switching to Uzalo, the bubbly actor starred in Mzansi Magic’s most watched drama series as Phumlani Ndaba. He joined the drama series as Mbongeni Ndaba’s young brother, who reappears to set Thathi’s world on fire. He was often dupped as a death messenger and harmed those who stood in his way. However, his unmatched acting flair saw him being one of Mzansi’s finest. However, in the mix of things, he was implicated in several woes with Principal Melusi Dlamini, who later killed him in a brawl.

However, on Uzalo, his arrival will see Nkunzi’s feathers ruffled. No doubt the charming and bubbly actor will fall in love with Gabisile, played by Baby Cele. Well, of interest is the fact that this will be the second time Gabisile cheats on Nkunzi. At some point, she once cheated on Nkunzi with his brother Qhabanga behind his back.
When called for comment, the bubbly actor did confirm the news before hanging the call “Yes, I can confirm [that I have joined Uzalo], but I am not allowed to comment further.”
