The Queen former actress Thando ‘Jessica Nkosi‘s age surprises many as she looks younger than her actual age. In the telenovela The Queen, Jessica played Thando, the daughter of a drug lord Hector Sebata (played by Rapulana Seiphemo).

Thando was a ruthless killer who would kill unapologetically and never feel remorseful. The Thando character won the award for Outstanding Female Villain at the Royalty Soapie Awards in 2021. However, Jessica Nkosi recently left The Queen after her character was killed, and she is now exploring other opportunities in the acting industry.

On the Queen, the actress played the role of a young lady who cohabitated with her father and stepmom. She grew up in the criminal legal world. Jessica was an ambitious young lady in love with Brutu’s first son Bambatha.

Her character on The Queen left many assuming she was young in real life, yet she is 32. To make it sassier, she is a mother of a four-year-old daughter Namisa Dlamini.

Jessica Nkosi was born on 20 January 1990 in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal. She grew up in Empangeni and moved to  Eshowe after her parents divorced. Her parents’ separation affected her as she had to move in with her dad, who later died when she was in grade 11.

The actress many love to hate did her primary and secondary school in KwaZulu-Natal. She passed her matric with flying colours and enrolled for tertiary education at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where she studied for a bachelor’s degree in Law.

Although she failed Criminal Law in her second year she did not despair. Instead, she switched to studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Drama and Performing Arts and graduated in 2012.

After graduating, she made strides in the entertainment industry and paved the way for herself in the competitive world. As of late, she has featured in different television production and has an award for it.
Jessica’s unique way of keeping Mzansi glued to their screens sees her winning ambassadorial deals with prominent companies in Mzansi. She is a brand ambassador for the following companies:

The actress has a baby with Ntokozo’ TK’ Dlamini, but it’s unclear whether the couple is married. Unconfirmed sources have it that Jessica and TK Dlamini got married in a secret wedding ceremony and cohabited together.
