wrong. With the trial taking over seven years to comes up with the verdict, some fans of the late Orlando Pirates goalkeeper has constantly questioned how everything has been handled by the law enforcement and even court as a whole too.
Now, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema alongside the Mzansi musician Kelly Khumalo’s lawyer Magdalena Moonsamy have been served with a lawsuit of defamation of character and crimen injuria. As Advocate Malesela Teffo decided that enough is enough, as he couldn’t take anything that’s been said about him in public. As he was the former defence attorney of the four men that were accused of murdering Meyiwa, but it seems like he was removed from their lawyers lists following reports that he allegedly knew something about the former Bafana shot-stopper’s death. As it was going to be a conflict of interest with the Khumalos and other people co-accused.
He did came out to state that he’s not hidding any information that could complete the puzzles of the case. Now, he decided to open a case at Johannesburg Central and Brixton police stations. As he felt that there’s people that constantly trying to drag his name down and want to use him as an escape goat for what occurred to Meyiwa. Also, Teffo did state that he was harassed by the state, and court when he withdrew from being a defence lawyer and that didn’t sit well with him. Hence, he’s trying to clear his name from the public too.
