South African actress Enhle Mbali has landed a lucrative role in the upcoming drama series set to make its debut on SABC1 next month.

Titled Good Men, the actress will play the role of a legal guru and she revealed that the series is based on corruption but says it’s mainly focused on her and her…

Media reports indicate that Mbali’s partner is also practicing as a lawyer but works for a private firm while she works for the government – the 34-year-old recently gave more details.

Speaking to Kaya 969’s Sol Phenduka and Dineo Ranaka, Mbali is set to feature in the series that will make its debut on September 4.

The radio station has it that the play is all about two men (Zola and Jama) who have different upbringings, they come into direct opposition and a stark contrast from Four ways to Cosmo City to the courts.

A 17-year-old and a math genius with a temper is accused of murder in his matric year.

On the other side is a brilliant ruthless, materialistic criminal lawyer Jama, whose life takes a drastic turn when he must take on a pro-bono case.

The lawyer is played by Pallance Dladla. Speaking about her highly anticipated role, Mbali told the station that the drama series is all about celebrating her career after launching it as a raw 17-year-old.

“It’s a law series and based roughly on myself and partner who’s the ‘good man’, and the journey he takes in order to find what a ‘good man ‘ is especially with regards to law with me assisting him along the way,” she said.

“We are both lawyers on the series, I work at the NPA, he works at a private firm, pro-helping the people, but there’s a lot of corruption in the story.”

The Parktown-based radio also revealed that the drama series is expected to have an all-star cast including Thabo Malema, Dumisani Mbebe, Pallance Dladla, Marcus Mabusela, Zikhona Sodlaka, Sparky Xulu, and Cedric Fourie among others.
