Reports indicate that the driver of a heavy motor vehicle transporting diesel lost control, resulting in a roll-over. The patient, an adult male, was assessed and found to have sustained serious injuries.
The Krugersdorp Fire and Rescue Services used hydraulic tools to free the man from the wreckage, while paramedics stabilised the patient. Once treated, the man was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to hospital for further care.
