Gemini Major took a step back in producing hip hop music and making beats, but he has expressed in a tweet that he is now ready to do what he knows best. “I relaxed for a minute from producing hip hop, at some point felt like just a cycle, then Recently I lost my laptop,4 months without it gave me some time to find the love again, Right now am banging them.” Tweeted Gemini Major.
Despite not being too much involved in hip-hop music, Gemini Major recently dropped a music video for Ooh Lala featuring a Nigerian star Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, aka Ayra Starr. Taking it back home, the famed producer is now back to stamp his prowess in SA hip hop. Gemini Major took to Twitter and previews his unreleased song ‘WhayaSayy‘ featuring Nasty C.
Without revealing many details about the track, taking from the sound and flows one can simply tell that SA hip hop will be in for a treat. Gemini Major and Nasty C have a very good relationship and the former even labelled Nasty C the best rapper in Africa right now. “Nasty C easily the best rapper in Africa today, Go argues with your favourite rapper!!!” He tweeted.
Gemini Major has not worked with Nasty C, but he has contributed to many rappers’ projects including AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Focalistic and Tellamans.
