The Khumalos are trending after the court heard that Senzo was in a love triangle with the Khumalo sisters. No doubt, the case has been making all sorts of headlines since Advocate Tshepo Timothy Thobane came on the map.
In the recent court session, Mzansi was shocked when it was revealed that the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was in a love triangle with Kelly Khumalo and her sister Zandile Khumalo.
Could this be the reason why the two have been beefing in recent years? It seems as if the Advocate is unravelling the untold story behind the untimely death of Senzo Meyiwa, who was shot at point blank whilst in the company of his bubbly girlfriend and friends.
Controversial Advocate Tshepo Timothy Thobane, who represents four of the five men accused of the 2014 murder, put it to Meyiwa’s friend, State witness Tumelo Madlala, that Meyiwa was living with the two sisters and having sexual relations with both of them. Of interest is that this is not the first time these daring allegations have made rounds on social media.
“A witness will testify that Kelly had brought Zandi to live with them, to guard Senzo while she was doing her music career activities. I put it to you that the same witness will come and testify that Senzo was complaining about the way Kelly was doing things, and having someone to guard him,” said Thobane.

In the mix of things, Madlala revealed that he was unaware of the alleged affair. In today’s examination, Thobane went on to reveal to Madlala that:
“That witness will testify that at the end, Senzo ended up having a sexual relationship with Zandi as well. Kelly was being away for a long time.”
Madlala responded: “I cannot agree, and I cannot disagree with that because I know that Senzo loved women.” We can all agree that this case has since had its twist.
In the previous session, the State witness revealed that whilst at the hospital, Kelly Khumalo took some of Senzo’s possessions, which included a million-rand watch he was wearing.
Kelly once revealed that Senzo died in her hands on their way to the hospital. The witness even revealed that Senzo was declared dead at the hospital, directly contradicting Kelly’s side of the story.
Daring revelations have it that in the wake of Senzo’s death, Twala even offered Kelly Khumalo a getaway vacation, but its intention was not known.
