Samthing Soweto and The Soil come together for an unique performance!

The group is working on the release of their first album together in nearly a decade and can not wait to share the surprise features. Samthing Soweto unexpectedly joined the acapella ensemble on stage for a performance. The group has achieved success with songs including Joy, We Are Family, Susan and Inkomo. Samkelo Lelethu used to be a part of the group before leaving due to it.

On Saturday 9th June, The Soil and Samthing Soweto fans received a pleasant surprise.

The group is working on the release of their first album together in nearly a decade and can not wait to share the surprise features. Samthing Soweto unexpectedly joined the acapella ensemble on stage for a performance. The group has achieved success with songs including Joy, We Are Family, Susan and Inkomo. Samkelo Lelethu used to be a part of the group before leaving due to it.

He performed a hymn with the group at Intimate Evening with Ntsika, which was held at the South African State Theatre in Tshwane. Samthing Soweto, Buhlebendalo Mda and brothers Ntsika and Luphindo Ngxanga founded The Soil in 2003. The group released platinum debut album in 2011 and shortly after Samthing Soweto left the group. As per TshisaLive Samthing Soweto left The Soil due to a contractual dispute but he admitted that he regretted leaving.

” I was young, I didn’t know better, I wanted to do everything at the same time and I admit I was wrong. I regret leaving The Soil but I’m happy they’re doing well.”
