Skeem Saam viewers will be devastated to learn that Pretty’s soulmate-boyfriend Lehasa is going to lobola his baby mama Khwezi. The October teasers also reveal that Jacobeth Thobakgale will fall in love and go on a date with a mysterious man.
WILL PRETTY AND LEHASA BREAK UP?
Although the TVSA Skeem Saam October teasers reveal that Lehasa will take responsibility for his unborn baby and lobola Khwezi, they don’t show that he and Pretty will break up after he marries Khwezi. Fans of former Turfloop High’s principal, Jacobeth Thobakgale will be glad to know that she’s going to meet a mysterious man and fall in love with him.
The Friday 7 October teaser read:
“After much-heated deliberation, Lehasa finally pays lobola for his murderous lady. Pretty has to make a difficult decision once again: family or love?”
We already know that Lehasa (Cedric Fourie) doesn’t love Khwezi (Samukele Mkhize) and he’s only marrying her to make sure she doesn’t spill the beans on him at his hearing.
Monday 10 October:
“Pretty is ready for a good time with her beau but is instead met by her worst nightmare.”
The teasers also reveal that Khwezi will try to seduce Lehasa after her lobola negotiations but he won’t budge because he’s only interested in her unborn baby, who might not even be his.
The TVSA teasers also indicate that Lehasa and Pretty’s (Lerato Marabe) relationship will be tested by his trial when a murder he committed is revealed at his hearing.
#TeamPreHasa shouldn’t fret though as it appears the pair will work out their differences and stick together.
The outcome of his hearing will only be revealed towards the end of October.
‘SKEEM SAAM’: WHO IS JACOBETH’S LOVE INTEREST?
Viewers of the educational soapie will be happy to see former Turfloop High’s principal, Jacobeth Thobakgale falling in love for the first time since the inception of the show.
Indeed this will be the first time that we see Elizabeth Serunye’s character in a relationship with a man… and even going on a date.
Though she has a child, Dr Elizabeth Thobakgale (played by Amanda Manku) already, we have never met, or been introduced to Lizzy’s dad on the show… therefore never seen her in a relationship.
It is unclear from the teasers who this man is as he’s someone new in Turfloop and someone who will awaken feelings she buried long ago.
Friday 21 October:
“Jacobeth meets someone who awakens feelings within her that she thought had long died.”
Monday 24 October:
“Jacobeth finds herself contending with her feelings for a man she doesn’t even know.”
Monday 31 October:
“Jacobeth sings a new tune, she’s now a resident on cloud 9.”
