Taking to Twitter, the Ice Cream hitmaker shared some sad news regarding her university mate who took her life last night. Gigi Lamayne went on and expressed her concern about the new pandemic which is suicide which is getting out of hand.

“Woke up to the news that one of my university mates took his life last night. A motivational speaker and writer. It don’t make sense… The new pandemic is suicide… a silent genocide… lurking in the struggles of the youth. Slowly emerging … the fire is becoming uncontrollable.” Gigi Lamayne tweeted.

In another tweet, Gigi Lamayne also went on and endorsed the Sports and Culture program that is introducing a community program for people to not find solutions to committing suicide. “Suicide isn’t the answer.” Gigi Lamayne wrote.

Riky Rick and Tumi Tladi are the rappers that have committed suicide in South African hip hop and that has brought a dark cloud on the game.
