How to Ruin Christmas’ star Busisiwe ‘Busi’ Lurayi passed away on Sunday 10 July at her residence.
This came as a shock to many, as the talented actress showed no signs of being sick.
ETV Scandal page shared a post today, confirming that the late Busi Lurayi had joined Scandal before her passing.
They said the she would be portraying the role of Me’Shell who will be coming to our screens from the 2nd of September.
She passed on before she could complete shooting the story of Me’Shell who will be part of scandal as a long-time friend of Layla Mckenzie.
They have however found a way to complete her final act, by using her close friend and fellow actor, Thuli Thabethe.
She will be stepping in to take over Me’Shell’s remaining scenes which will be seen later in September.
It is not the first time that the two have replaced each other, as Busi had previously replaced Thuli’s role on SABC1’s city ses’la.
